It’s New Year’s Day, 2014. Joshua Rothchild, a young NYPD sergeant, and his officers respond to the city’s first homicide of the year. The victim is a middle-aged ex-con, found riddled with bullets in a hallway. After an embarrassing crime scene mishap, Josh is bitten during an encounter with a suspect.
